5 Top Graduation Gifts For Your Senior

SALT LAKE CITY — Even though Graduation Day won’t look like it usually does this year due to the coronavirus, there are still ways to make the day special for your senior. One way is through graduation gifts. KSL did some digging to create a list of five trending gift options.

There are tens of thousands of graduating seniors this spring, both in high school and college, who don’t get the standard pomp and circumstance because of the current circumstances. USA Today columnists shared some ways family and friends could show love to their seniors with helpful, practical gifts.

The Instant Pot Ultra isn’t just for your mother, or your aunt who’s willing to try new ways to cook Sunday dinner. The appliance is helpful in any new graduate’s apartment, and for under $200, they can cook everything from a roast and potatoes, to cheesecake.

The Kindle Paperwhite is waterproof and durable, and of course, tries its best to give readers the best that paperbacks have to offer. Let your graduate read their hearts out as they’ve got some time before taking their next step in higher education or the job market. The price tag on the device is $159.99.

Smart assistants and smart speakers are becoming more common, so make sure they’ve got the best. The Amazon Echo keeps them connected during a time of social distancing. For less than $100, your graduate can plan their lives, play music, use apps, and do just about anything with the sound of their voices.

The Roku Ultra is USA’s Todays highest-rated interface for binging the latest Netflix series. The device costs $99, and is the gateway to almost unlimited content.

Gift number five is the most unique and the least expensive. How about a keepsake they can display forever? If they’re graduating high school, a custom wooden map from Uncommon Goods priced at $50 can be a layout of their hometown. If they’re done with college, this can be a grid of their four years away from home.
