Here’s How To Schedule A Vaccine Appointment At A Retail Pharmacy

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – More people are becoming eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine, but you’ll need to schedule an appointment to get one.

Utahns can now get the vaccine through the Federal Retail Pharmacy Program.

Residents should not arrive at pharmacies without an appointment, officials say.

According to the Utah Department of Health, select pharmacies get a limited number of doses per week, so some residents may have to continue checking back.

UDOH states that everyone who wants a vaccine will be able to get one eventually.

Currently, eligible Utahns include health care workers, long-term care facility staff and residents, first responders, people ages 65 and older, K-12 teachers and school staff, and residents 16 and older who have certain medical conditions.
