FARR WEST, Utah – Crews responding to a house fire in Weber Canyon saved more than just the family’s home — they saved two furry family members as well.
At approximately 6 p.m. Wednesday, a fire started in a Farr West home’s garage, authorities said.
According to the Weber Fire District, the home’s sole occupant was outside when crews arrived — but the person’s two dogs had hidden somewhere in side the house.
Firefighters jumped into action.
Soon, responders could be seen carrying the dogs out of the home and reuniting them with their owner.
No one was injured and the dogs were doing well, officials said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
