FILLMORE, Utah — Two people were transported to the hospital after fire crews said they were trapped inside a semi that crashed and caught fire in Fillmore.
The incident happened at the 167 structure around 8:30 a.m. Sunday.
Corp. Andrew Battenfield with the Utah Highway Patrol said the semi was traveling southbound when it drifted into the median and continued up an embankment on the opposite side.

The driver was flown to Utah Valley Hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries, while the passenger was treated at an area hospital and released.
