One Killed, Four Injured In Drive-By Shooting At SLC Graduate Party

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — Police are investigating after a 20-year-old male was killed and four others suffered injuries in a shooting.
Lieutenant Gary Trost with the Salt Lake City Police Department said all the four injured were men between the ages of 19 and 20 and were being treated at hospitals in the area.
Trost confirmed the shooting occurred in front of a home where there was a large gathering in the area of 1400 North General Drive at approximately 2000 West. A vehicle drove by and fired an unknown number of shots early Sunday morning.
The Salt Lake City School District said all five victims were either recent graduates or former graduates.

Police were called about 1:40 a.m. Sunday. Investigators are working to determine if there is a connection between the suspect or suspects and the victims. Police say suspects are at large.
The deceased victim was identified by SLCPD as Sean Amone.
