SALT LAKE CITY — A new list out from “Rolling Stone” has named the greatest 100 TV shows of all time.
The new list, updated from the magazine’s original 2016 article, includes a wide variety of shows, ranging from “Sesame Street” to “Breaking Bad.”
A panel of actors, showrunners and critics helped compile the list, which was published Monday.
So which show came in at No. 1?
Rolling Stone invited a panel of actors, showrunners, and critics to vote on the 100 best TV shows of all time. The list spans eras (including a show that debuted in 1951 and one from 2021), genres, styles, and a lot more. I wrote about all 100 of them: https://t.co/TUhBTotwwc pic.twitter.com/t2W3yPgB4j

That spot belongs to “The Sopranos,” with “The Simpsons” coming in at No. 2 and “Breaking Bad” rounding out the top 3.
Some other U.S. fan favorites?
“Friends” just cracked the top 50, coming in at No. 49, while “The Office” took the No. 34 slot.
“Seinfield” came in at No. 6.
