Avalanche triggered at Snowbird resort, no injuries reported

LITTLE COTTONWOOD CANYON, Utah — Rescue crews responded to the Snowbird Ski Resort after an avalanche was triggered on a trail.
Kelsey Johnson from Snowbird said the skier-triggered avalanche happened at approximately 10:30 a.m. in the Little Cloud area of Gad Valley.
Ski patrols responded and thoroughly searched the debris but found no one trapped or injured from the avalanche.
The site was cleared by 12:43 p.m..
