Orem resident hospitalized after being knocked unconscious in snowmobile crash

PROVO, Utah — A 62-year-old man was flown to Utah Valley Hospital Monday after officials say he crashed into a tree while on his snowmobile and was knocked unconscious.
The man, who is an Orem resident, sustained shoulder and head injuries in the crash, according to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office.

A 7:17 p.m. tweet from the UCSO said team members responded to an area above Aspen Grove.
“He may have been there for several hours,” the tweet said of the snowmobiler.
Additional details, including what led up to the crash, was not immediately available.
The man’s name has not been released.
