Chad Daybell case going to trial after he pleads not guilty

REXBURG, Idaho – Chad Daybell’s case is going to trial after he entered a not guilty plea Friday.
His trial has been scheduled for Jan. 11 – 29, 2021. His lawyer officially entered his not guilty plea during a virtual arraignment.
Daybell is facing four felony charges in relation to the deaths of his wife, Lori Vallow’s, children JJ Vallow and Tylee Ryan.

Investigators found the children’s remains on Chad Daybell’s property in Idaho in June. He was arrested shortly after and charged with two felony counts of conspiracy to commit destruction, alterations or concealment of evidence, and two felony counts of destruction, alteration or concealment of evidence.
If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison as well as a $40,000 fine.
