3rd Suspect Arrested, Confesses to Christmas Day Murder

RIVERDALE, Utah – Riverdale police said the third suspect in a Christmas Day shooting that killed one man and critically injured a woman was arrested early Monday.
A news release said Riverdale Police arrested 31-year old Liam Gale at 12:20 Monday morning at a West Haven apartment complex. Officers called Gale and convinced him to surrender, according to the release. Gale was taken into custody without incident.
The release said, “Gale confessed to his involvement in this murder to include shooting the victims.”

Riverdale police responded to a mobile park at 5100 South 1050 West Early Christmas morning.
Two people were shot, 36-year old Trevor Anthony Martin, who died at the hospital later in the day. His 42-year old girlfriend was shot in the face and is in critical condition. Police have not released her name.
Riverdale Police arrested 31-year-old Brittany Rogers and a 16-year-old Rayburn Jimmy Bennett, Jr in connection with the case. The three suspects are charged with murder, aggravated robbery, aggravated burglary, and obstructing justice, all first-degree felonies.
The police statement said, “While we are relieved to have the three suspects in custody, we are still saddened by this senseless act that took the life of Trevor Martin and critically injured his girlfriend.”
