Utah’s second Topgolf location to open Friday

VINEYARD, Utah — Topgolf is ready to open its second Utah location later this week.

The company announced the new Vineyard driving range will open Friday.

It features 72 signature outdoor hitting bays, a mini-golf attraction, an outdoor patio, and meeting and event spaces.

“It doesn’t matter if you’ve never picked up a golf club before, we’re pretty certain you’ll have fun at Topgolf since our whole experience is focused on cutting loose with friends and family,” said Topgolf Chief Operating Officer Gen Gray. “We’ve enjoyed great relationships with Utahns after our Salt Lake City venue opened, and we’re thrilled at the opportunity to bring more play to the state.”

It’s located at The Yard in Vineyard, which features several dining and retail options, along with a Megaplex theater.

“Our focus is on creating more ways for people to play the game of golf in a fun and unique way, and we are looking forward to welcoming all players in the Utah County area to the Topgolf experience,” Chris Callaway, Topgolf chief development officer told KSL earlier this year.

This is the second location in Utah. The company previously opened in Midvale. This location is opening earlier than originally expected.

Topgolf is a golf driving range game with electronically tracked golf balls and automatically scored drives that started in 2000 and grew to become a multinational sports entertainment company according to a news release.

Topgolf in Vineyard opens to the public at 11 a.m. Friday.
