Gov. Cox orders flags to be lowered in honor of COVID victims

SALT LAKE CITY — Gov. Spencer Cox has ordered flags at all state facilities to be lowered for the next few days in accordance with President Joe Biden’s proclamation honoring the 1,000,000 people who have lost their lives to COVID-19.
“Flags should be lowered to the half-staff position immediately and return to full-staff at sunset on Monday, May 16, 2022,” stated a news release Thursday from the governor’s office.
